Make it Monday # 54

Hello again!
Well if it weren't for Papertrey, I wouldn't be posting at all these days!  Time is a hot commodity around here and by the time I have a chance to sit still and blog, I fall asleep.  True story.  So for those of you still hanging in here with me and putting up with my random rambling posts, I appreciate you.
I had a really rough day today.  Just one of those days where it felt like I worked my tail off and just didn't get anywhere.  Then as I left work, I was stuck in a traffic jam for 50 minutes, was late picking my kids up, and of course being a Thursday we had to rush around even more than usual to make it to soccer practice on time. While I'm battling yet another sinus infection.  Just one of those days.

I should have gotten on the treadmill and worked out some of my frustrations.  Fail.  After soccer, we stopped at McD's and got some McFlurries of the oreo persuasion.  Much needed dose of chocolate and frozen goodness to soothe my itchy throat.  Win win.

So after the misfits went to bed, I settled in on the couch for some swamp people- which by the way doesn't seem nearly as fun to watch without the hubby here to discuss it with me- and my trusty ipad to do some Pinterest pinning and blog hopping to unwind and relax from the day.  I made my regular stop over at Nichole's blog, and watched the Make it Monday post.  I normally don't have time to participate before the deadline expires, so I decided tonight I was just going to go do it.  Getting my hands dirty and doing something crafty just picks me up.

The topic for this week was glitter buttons.

Here is my take:
Sorry about the dark photo- it's late and I'm so sleepy!  Here is one with the flash:

Other:  Buttons- PTI White, Glitter- Doodlebug Designs, Embossing folder- Swiss Dot by Cuttlebug, Rhinestones- Queen and Co., Ribbon- PTI, Dimensionals- Stampin' Up!

And that's it.  Goodnight all!
